The "Daily Guessing" Era (Bilibili)

The Auto Battler format was invented by the visionary Bilibili creator MC-大麦.

He pioneered the concept of "Random Useful Plants VS Random Zombies"-a video series that functioned like a game show where viewers bet on the winner.

The Engine: PvZ Minus

The "Minus" Tournament Era

Inspired by MC-大麦's video series, the PvZ Minus team (led by Bayant) took the concept a step further. They didn't just record battles; they built a dedicated Engine for the mode.

By codifying the rules - introducing the Variable Wave Timer, standardizing the Imitater Zombie, and using Poll Bots for fair drafting - they transformed a fun video format into a competitive, calculated tournament where strategy (and RNG) reigns supreme.
